Accreditation Proposed to Three Puskesmas in S. Jakarta

Three community health centers (puskesmas) in South Jakarta are proposed to be accredited. The service improvement should be done for healthy society efforts.
South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Irmansyah said those puskesmas proposed are Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Kebagusan Urban Village and Cilandak Timur Urban Village.

South Jakarta already have three sub-district puskesmas where its facility has been accredited in the plenary meeting, namely Cilandak Sub-district, Setiabudi Sub-district and Pasar Minggu Sub-district," he expressed, during the signing of a cross-sectoral commitment, at Pasar Minggu RSUD, Wednesday (3/29).
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Health Sub-dept. Head, Heny Fachrudin added, to get accreditation, there should be a commitment of the supporting sectors.
"This is to encourage the successful accreditation of the puskesmas, especially for activities related to public health efforts," he uttered.
Accreditation of puskesmas is recognition of the puskesmas provided by the accreditation independent foundation set by the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare Facilities of First Rate (FKTP) and is regularly conducted once in three years.
Special points assessment for accreditation standards is the standard administration and management, puskesmas program and puskesmas service.
